She joined BECO Management, Inc. as vice president of property management in 1997 and brings over 30 years of experience in property management and leasing to BECO.
Previously, Madeleine was vice president of marketing and business development at the Mark Winkler Company where she was responsible for that company's business growth. Madeleine began her career with the Charles E. Smith Company and later joined Trammell Crow Company.
Madeleine's property management supervisory experience also includes a vice presidency at SFRE, Inc., and a vice president of property management position with Cafritz Company. She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and served as the 1995 president of the Metropolitan Washington Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). In 1996, Madeleine was honored by receiving the Donald Calomiris Humanitarian Award by IREM, and was named CPM® of the Year by her chapter in 1993. She has been appointed to the position of an IREM National’s Senior Vice President and has been directed to lead the Green Initiatives for IREM National. As a member of the National Executive Committee, she has also served in various other positions for IREM and also has been an active member of the IREM National Foundation Board for four years.
Madeleine is a licensed broker in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
