I began my real estate career in 1978 buying and selling large tracts of farmland with W. R. Thompson Farmland Investments where we optioned and purchased large tracts of farmland from Georgia to Texas. We packaged and sold them to European Investors and in turn managed the farms for the Investors. We managed over 25,000 acres of farmland. We also purchased 17 Commercial Warehouses and managed over 7 million square feet of Commercial Warehouse space in 4 states for commercial tenants.

I formed and started Southern Properties in 1987 and am a licensed Real Estate Broker in Tennessee and Mississippi. I am involved in the Real Estate business in almost all facets of the industry. I own and manage three separate businesses under the umbrella of Southern Properties.

Southern Properties, LLC is owned by Bob and Wendy Turner and was founded in 1987 to service our customers with professional assistance in their real estate desires. I represent several local Developers in purchasing and designing residential subdivisions for sale to Builders. We also represent several local homebuilders in managing subdivision sales with model homes and agents on duty daily in model homes. We have 13 agents that represent clients in listing and selling their homes and land or Buyers looking to invest in real estate that are referred to us by past customers and friends.

Southern Properties Rehab: We are Real Estate investors in foreclosed properties that we purchase and remodel for ourselves. We have bought, remodeled, and sold over 300 properties in the last 20 years. We purchase homes that sell in the range of $50,000 to 125,000, remodel them and sell them to mostly first time home buyers.

Southern Properties Rentals: We also own a real estate portfolio of over 30 properties that include duplexes, single family homes, farms, and office properties that we manage and maintain for our retirement plan.
