Bio: Robert Cain
In 1983 Bob Cain went to a no-money-down seminar and got the strange notion that owning rental property would be a great idea. He bought some.
He knew he needed help. Because what he learned at the seminar didn't tell him how to make money in real estate. He went looking for it in the form of a magazine or newsletter about the business. He couldn’t find any.
Always ready to jump at a great idea, he decided he could put his speaking and writing skills to work and perform a valuable service for other investors who needed more information about property management.
Since 1987 Bob has been publishing information, giving speeches and conducting on seminars and workshops for landlords on how to buy, rent and manage property more effectively. He has spoken at real estate companies, property management associations and companies, workshops for landlords and property managers, service clubs and volunteer organizations as far east as Arlington, Virginia; as far west as Seattle, Washington; south as Pensacola, Florida; and as far north as Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Plus he regularly conducts web seminars on managing and marketing rental property.
He is a past member of the National Speakers Association, and a current member of Toastmasters, and the American Society for Training and Development; and a Graduate of the Realtor Institute.
Bob has worked for a large daily newspaper, for a book publisher, for an advertising agency, as a Realtor specializing in investment property sales, and as a mortgage broker specializing in construction and rental property loans.
In addition, he teaches presentation skills and writing at two local colleges. He lives in Oro Valley, Arizona with his wife of 41 years, and has two grown children, a granddaughter, and a grandson.
