Bio: Donald K. Irvine, Chairman, Accuracy in Media
Donald K. Irvine
Don Irvine is the Chairman of Accuracy in Media, America’s first media watchdog group, and its sister organization, Accuracy in Academia. He has been actively involved with AIM for over three decades, serving in various capacities since 1974. Prior to his election as Chairman in 2003, he served as Operations Manager and Executive Secretary.

Don co-authored AIM’s recent book, Why You Can’t Trust the News, Volume 2. His articles have been published on CampusReportOnline.net, FrontPageMagazine.com, Phi Beta Cons and other websites. He interviews leading media and policy experts for AIM’s weekly “Media Monitor Podcast” show. Don also writes a popular blog for AIM dealing with political correctness, media bias, academic excess and other political and cultural issues.

Don travels extensively across the country attending and speaking at various political events, including the Gun Rights Policy Conference, the Young Republican National Convention, the Utah, Georgia, and Oklahoma College Republican state conventions, and the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference. He has appeared nationally on the Ken Hamblin Show, CNBC, C-SPAN and other radio and television programs.

Don received his B.S. degree in Business from the University of Maryland. He lives with his wife and 3 children in suburban Maryland.
